Introducing new Operations Manager

I would like to thank the City Center Development Agency board for the opportunity to provide assistance and support to stakeholders in the Downtown area. I would also like to thank all of the stakeholders that have helped contribute to make our Downtown such a wonderful and inviting part of our city. Your contribution to the events such as Midnight Madness and the Sunshine Chalk Art Festival is invaluable in promoting and generating a positive image of the area. A city cannot be great without a great Downtown core.

In 2015 I received a diploma with Honours in Business Administration with a major in Management from the Medicine Hat College. Later that year in order to start giving back to the community I applied for and was awarded the position of director for the CCDA Board. Starting in January of 2016 I sat on the Finance and Monarch committees where I was able to learn and input thoughts and ideas to further our success and deal with any challenges.

The board has worked hard this past year to clarify my position in order for us to work with a common goal. Currently I am meeting with the stakeholders to improve communication and establish long-term relationships. I have submitted to the board and have been approved for several plans which include partnering with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Destination Marketing Organization, McMan and contacts within the City in order to further develop the Downtown core.
