Heritage Events is a premier venue and event management company dedicated to creating lasting memories for any occasion through the use of the historic Beveridge Building. Built in 1911, the Ballroom is capable of hosting events such as; weddings, company events, fundraisers, commercial/private parties and more. Located in the heart of Downtown Medicine Hat, the Beveridge is described as a bright and diverse space with natural light and a strong historic aesthetic. With a building like this, we can't help but be proud of the ambiance we can create and the memories we make.
The Ballroom: Perched on the top floor of the historic Beveridge, the Ballroom boasts large windows overlooking Downtown Medicine Hat. Perfect for events of up to 200 guests, this space is filled with original features from its conception in 1911 such as; hardwood floors, 11' high ceilings, and hand-pressed tin ceiling tiles.Our Ballroom reflects the true character of the original building with upgraded modern amenities.
The 1911 Lounge: Located in the basement of the Beveridge Building this up-scale cocktail lounge is the ideal space for meetings, celebrations and other small private events. Drawing inspiration from the prohibition era of the early 1900's, the 1911 Lounge can hold events of up to 100 guests.
Studio One & Two: Also known as our Bridal suites, the studio rooms are a bright, fun, and relaxing location to add-on to your event rental. Each is equipped with a wet bar, closet, full-length mirror, an area suitable for getting ready (hair and makeup etc.), and soft seating. Studio 1 is comfortable for 12-15 and has a private powder room. Studio 2 will accommodate up to 20 people and has a private bathroom which includes a shower.
